ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Mike. I first discovered human-centered design in a college class, and it immediately clicked. I started learning Figma, watching tutorials, and experimenting with my own projects. My early work was rough, but I loved the process of taking messy problems and shaping them into experiences that feel clear and intuitive for the person on the other side.
I later volunteered with Develop for Good to work on a real product, and it became one of the most meaningful experiences of my early career. Designing for a real nonprofit and real users taught me how impactful thoughtful design can be. That experience confirmed that this is the work I want to pursue.
I’m early in my career and constantly learning, taking on new challenges wherever I can. If you're looking for someone curious, collaborative, and excited about building meaningful products, I'd love to connect.
MY VALUES
Design with Empathy
Empathy starts with understanding people. I ground my design decisions in research and real user needs, making sure every choice improves the experience in a meaningful way. Good design should not only look thoughtful but work for everyone, so I always aim to create solutions that are inclusive and accessible.
Never stop learning
I’m always looking for ways to grow as a designer. Whether it’s learning a new tool, strengthening my technical skills, or exploring how design and engineering work together, I’m constantly pushing myself to improve. I actively seek feedback because I believe the best way to refine your craft is to stay curious and keep learning.
